Emerging Arts Leaders: Philadelphia’s Creative Conversation is our flagship event, a dynamic mini-symposium held in October in chorus with emerging arts leaders networks throughout the country as encouraged by Americans for the Arts. Our seventh annual Creative Conversation will feature engaging keynote and breakout presentations, as well as opportunities for attendees to share their thoughts.

Our keynote speaker, Stanford Thompson, is a musician and educator who is passionate about using music for social action and serves as the Founder and Artistic Director for the El Sistema-inspired program, Play On, Philly! and the Chairman of El Sistema USA. Visit his site www.stanfordthompson.com to learn more.

Breakout Sessions

Have something important to share with other arts leaders? We want to hear from you. EAL:P is once again issuing a public Request for Proposals for the Creative Conversation breakout sessions. Speakers will be paid to lead two fifty minute breakouts during the symposium. These interactive presentations help the event further Americans for the Arts’ mission to ensure that every American has access to the transformative power of the arts.
